The Mobile Food Challenge is a national business pitch competition providing financial investment and mentorship to mobile food startups. The "Five to Fifty" Mobile Food Challenge is a virtual event culminating in an online summit where three finalists will make their pitch to a panel of angel investors on April 7th, 2021 for anywhere from $5,000 - $50,000 in investment, plus on-going training and mentorship.

Dre's Water Ice and Ice Cream is located in Philadelphia and Atlanta. Dre's is a dessert company that manufactures nostalgic Southern Style Ice Cream (Banana Pudding, Sweet Potato Pie, Peach Cobbler, and Apple Pie) and real fruit Philly water ice for our ice cream truck and wholesale customers. Investing in Dre’s will help us gain market share in Philadelphia and Atlanta while servicing residents our authentic unconventional flavors.
Once Upon A Potato is a potato themed food truck located in Baltimore County, Maryland specializing in customizable potato bowls. We also aim to feed the homeless community through support from customers, local churches and organizations.
Bubbe’s Blintzes brings handmade cheese blintzes to the masses. Everyone knows what a crepe is but not everyone knows what a blintz is. We are changing that with our superior recipe handed down to me from my Bubbe as she taught me how to produce them almost 50 years ago.
On The Go LA (based out of Los Angeles) is a service founded by Gabriel Gamez and Enrique Loyola that helps local food entrepreneurs easily & affordably formalize their business and grow their customer base by offering full-service, short-term food truck rentals.
The Shell Shack based in Washington DC serves seafood with a Caribbean twist. We take pleasure in serving items like salmon and stuffing it with curried jumbo lump crab meat or even adding a mango and pineapple salsa to our shrimp lollipops.

This virtual event is the opportunity for innovative mobile food entrepreneurs to pitch their business idea and get funding. Applicants are required to create a pitch deck that explains the vision for their business to submit as an application.

Three finalists with the top submissions will be selected to present their deck live to a panel of angel investors at the virtual Mobile Food Challenge event held on April 7th, 2021. At least one finalist in the "Five to Fifty" Mobile Food Challenge will be offered a $5,000 minimum investment, mentorship, and on-going support to help grow and scale their business.
